Class Description

Do you look at calls for art where the requirements of the gallery/ museums ask artists to provided reusable packing/shipping materials? And you don’t know where to start? Do you want to store your artwork, so it doesn’t get dirty from your studio?

Each person will be provided with an art packing kit to take home for future projects.

Material Fee

The materials fee for this class is $100. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts payments in cash or through Venmo or Paypal.

Class Goals

In this two-hour workshop participants will be introduced to the world of art packing- the materials, tools, and techniques used to pack, store, and ship 2D work.

Students will wrap a 2D object, and make a custom carboard box(slipcase)
