Join Alfred and his handler Ann from Story Dogs for some stories and songsStory Dogs is a fun and unique reading support program that improves children’s reading and communication skills by children reading with a trained companion dog and its handler. It operates in schools across Australia.
Primary school aged children can join us at Noarlunga library with special guest Ann and her Story Dog Alfred.
We will have 2 sessions (10.30am & 11am) each with groups of 10 children and only one parent/carer to listen to stories and sing songs with library staff and Story Dogs volunteer Ann, accompanied by their Story Dog Alfred. Interaction with Alfred can happen after the reading session if the children would like to give a pat.
All families wishing to attend need to agree to special conditions on the ticket order form.
