About this Event
Mosaic Film Experience recently collaborated with Newman's Own Foundation on Nourishing Narratives: Youth Stories for Change, a national youth mobile film competition where students share their experiences with food justice, and spark new ideas for creating a fair and just food system for everyone.
Nourising Narratives Sizzle Reel
The Evening will begin with Living Histories: Grand Rapids, which gave students hands-on experience learning directly from industry mentors. The film tells the Grand Rapids story through interviews with leaders in education, industry, and social justice throughout West Michigan's diverse communities. Living Histories: Grand Rapids interviews will air on WGVU in 2026 and be archived at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. This project is the first in an ongoing series supported by Sony Electronics' CREATE ACTION grant.
