Wander through the leafy streets of South Hill as we learn about the early 20th-century history and architecture of the neighborhood.
About this Event

On this walk, we'll explore community green spaces and hear stories of wealthy heiresses, war heroes, and everyday families, and how hey are linked to historically significant properties, including a collection of Eden Smith homes and a former Mothercraft hospital and residence.

Start Location: Sir Winston Churchill Park (301 St. Clair Avenue West)

Our staff and volunteers will be at the tour's starting location 30 minutes prior to each tour. Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the tour to allow time for check in.

End Location: Glenn Gould Park (480 Avenue Road)

Length of Tour: Approximately 90 minutes

Distance and Terrain: Approximately 2 kilometres, mostly on city sidewalks and some non-paved urban parks.

Registration is required for all tours. Please note: you will not be able to join a tour group if you have not registered ahead of time.

This tour uses individual audio headsets. All registered participants will be provided with an individual headset that will allow you to hear the tour guide throughout the tour.
