Please join us for a one-night-only celebration of LGBTQ+ storytelling and community! Presented by Torrey House Press and Strangerville Live and hosted by Alexis Powell, the 90 minute show will feature Karin Anderson, Eli McCann, Manny Loley, Wynter Storm, and Jamie White. More speakers to come!This show exists to celebrate queer joy, triumph, love, liberation, defiance, connection—and to reject the narrative that the LGBTQ+ experience is defined only through trauma. With this in mind, each storyteller has prepared a 5-7 minute story or reading on whatever topic they’d like.
Tickets are $15 through Eventbrite, and code PRIDE gets you $5 off.
The show is co-presented by Torrey House Press and Strangerville Live at Church & State in Salt Lake City (370 S 300 E). The program is family friendly-ish (we can’t promise your children won’t hear bible swears or euphemisms). Program runs at 1.5 hours. Doors open at 6:30PM, show starts at 7.
