SAVE THE DATE Stories of HOPE Australia is back and we have a powerful event planned for 22nd October.
Carl Christensen
former head of the Sunshjne Coast Forensic Crash Investigation Unit knows a lot about PTSD.
He has witnessed more trauma and tragedy than anyone can imagine and eventually had to surrender his badge giving up the job he once loved.
Hear how Carl has managed to bounce back and find a new purpose for his life along with the self care strategies that have helped him find peace and healing since leaving the force.
Janet has demonstrated a mother’s love that has known no bounds. Forced to watch on helplessly as her daughter spiralled into the abyss of a gruelling drug addiction there were many days and nights where Janet didn’t know where to turn. But she held onto the hope that one day her daughter would be free from the grips of addiction and that day came. Today her daughter has found recovery.
Janet has recently released her book outlining her and her daughter’s journey to help any parent out there struggling in the same way or who is wondering if their child is addicted, and if they are, how to hold on in times of uncertainty.
Come along and hear one two very brave humans share their Stories of HOPE
