His work has ranged from pick-up basketball and earthquakes to John Mellencamp and climate change in National Parks, but his last two documentaries tackle stories from veterans with a focus on Vietnam. He is a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran and life member of Vietnam Veterans of America.
