You're invited to Storer Transformation Night! 🎨✨Join us on Thursday, September 26th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at 3382 W. 44th (former Tropical) for an evening dedicated to the exciting changes coming to the Stockyard community, especially Storer Ave. The Transformation Arts Fund has awarded a huge project to the community and we are here to share the details!
Hosted by Black Brain, MetroWest, and the Council Office, this night promises a beautiful visual experience as we explore the past, present, and future of Storer Ave:
🌟 Explore the Past: Discover the rich history of a neighborhood that once boasted a grocery store, movie theater, and park where residents had many amenities in walking distance.
🌟 Celebrate the Present: Share your memories—good or bad—about growing up in this community. Do you remember about the street full of small shops?
🌟 Imagine the Future: Learn about the exciting transformations ahead, from new parks and streetscapes to stunning murals. You'll also get a sneak peek at the new mural designs and even have a chance to vote for your favorite!
✨ Special Highlight: Learn about a free mural apprenticeship program and see images of the upcoming murals that will brighten Storer Ave! ✨
🎉 Plus, enjoy free family-friendly activities, delicious food, and music throughout the night.
We can't wait to see you there for a night of art, community, and celebration! Questions? Contact: Luis Rivas [email protected] 216-961-9073 ex.219
