Stopping by Woods - Music for Wintertide

Join FMCA for concerts celebrating the winter season and all that we love about it! Sarah Quartel’s SnowAngel and Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols are both scored for choir, cello, and piano, so we’re excited to be joined by guest artists Eduard Teregulov (cello) and vocalist William Jacobson (baritone) for this concert. Matthew Culloton’s setting of Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening and Abbie Betinis’s In the Bleak Midwinter, along with scores by John Rutter, Francis Poulenc, and Melissa Dunphy will help set the tone for this wintery feast of first-rate choral music.
