Stop the Bleed, presented by Doctors Medical Center, will focus on:- Recognizing life-threatening bleeding situations
- Immediate response to bleeding
- Techniques to stop the bleeding (pressure dressings, packing wounds and tourniquets)
- 1.5 CEUs available for licensed staff
- A bleeding control kit is recommended but not required for this class. This can be purchased at www.stopthebleed.org/shop-kit-tourniquet or online. (Please only purchase a C-A-T ® brand tourniquet)
