Cass Regional Medical Center will host a free Stop the Bleed educational program on Thursday, June 20, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in Conference Rooms 1 and 2, located directly inside the main entrance of Cass Regional at 2800 E. Rock Haven Road in Harrisonville.Victims can quickly die from uncontrolled bleeding, within 5 to 10 minutes. However, with proper training anyone at the scene can act as an immediate responder. The Stop the Bleed program includes instruction and practice on proper bleeding control techniques, including how to use your hands, dressings, and tourniquets.
