About this Event

Stop the Bleed is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

We will provide instruction and training on how to mitigate and prevent blood loss in emergency situations when time is of the essence. We will provide all of the training props and equipment during the training.



Speakers:



Jeff Wing
  • 26 years in law enforcement, currently a Lieutenant with Tehama County District Attorney's Office Bureau of Investigations
  • Over 15 years SWAT team experience serving roles including: Operator, Assistant Team Leader, Sniper/Observer, Sniper Team Leader, SWAT Team Leader and SWAT Team Commander
  • Former member of both Tehama County Narcotics Task Force, and Tehama County Gang Task Force. Qualified drug investigations expert and has extensive experience providing Site Survey Threat Assessments
  • California P.O.S.T. firearms instructor, range-master, and Active Shooter instructor. Department of Homeland Security Run-Hide-Fight certified instructor and Stop the Bleed instructor



Eric Forsberg
  • Recently retired with over 22 years in active law enforcement; former Homicide/Major Crimes Investigator, Gang Task Force leader and police supervisor and manager
  • Over 25 years combined SWAT/Tactical experience with 11 years as U.S.A.F. Pararescueman and flight paramedic
  • California P.O.S.T. pistol, rifle, and Critical Incident/Active Shooter instructor. CA DOJ, USCCA, and NRA firearms instructor. A.L.I.C.E., AVERT and Run-Hide-Fight certified instructor
  • Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design certified and an instructor in Workplace Violence & Active Shooter Response
  • Integrative Medical Doctor, Tactical/Wilderness/Remote EMT
