Please join us as we rally to Stop Police Brutality, Stop Abuse of Power and We Come Together As One in Downtown Boston. All to often, Black and Brown men are wrongfully shot and murdered by the police with no recourse for their families and the community that seeks accountability. Your support is needed to get answers and justice to the tragic and unsolved case of:
Anthony Harden, Moses Harris, Uhuru 3, and Timothy Brown.
Anthony Harden, a 30-year -old Black Man a resident of Fall River was tragically murdered in his bedroom by Fall River Police on November 22, 2021. Police entered the building where he lived and found Anthony sitting at the foot of his bed, holding his cell phone and in less than 2 minutes, Anthony was shot dead.
Anthony's brother Eric Mack has successfully sued the District Attorney of Bristol County under the Massachusetts public records law to obtain underlying documents tied to the investigation into his brother's death. This case went all the way to the Massachusetts Supreme Court and was settled there. A lower court awarded Eric nearly $45,000.00 in damages and legal fees. The information revealed so far provides evidence that the case was mishandled and places the ground for the shooting in the in serious doubt.
In Lowell, Mass on December 19, 2020, Moses Harris a 25-year-old Black Man a resident disappeared after an encounter with Lowell Police at 850 Lawrence Street, Lowell Police stated that Moses jumped into the Concord River. His body was found 77 days later on March 7, 2021. An unknown Lowell Police officer was the last person to see Moses alive. Moses family and friends have still received zero answers from the Lowell Police, despite clear and formal requests for access to the full footage of the incident, the full incident report, and the names of the officer(s) involved.
Lowell Police have neglected to comply with state laws indicating that all reports must be available by public record. They have also ignored repeated orders from the Secretary of State to release the full incident report. Moses Harris disappeared on December 19th, 2020. His body was found 77 days later on March 7th, 2021. An unknown Lowell Police officer was the last person to see Moses alive. What does the LPD have to hide?
On February 7, 2020, Juston Root a young white male, was riddled with dozens of bullets by Boston Police while having no weapon. The police ordered a former EMT by his side, who witnessed the shooting, to get away. There was no weapon by his side! The Norfolk DA exonerated the 6 officers in 30 days!
Timothy Brown a 36-year-old Black man indicted in 2009 on joint venture first degree murder 2 counts to serve (2 life sentences without parole) and several other serious felony crimes. Timothy was convicted at 21-years-old, however there was a rule established in 2017 by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court that is now know as the Brown rule with regards to joint venture. However Timothy Brown can not apply a rule that was created due to his case for his case. Why??? Because the DA targeted him and because he would not say things the way she wanted him to say the events that took place. So she can abuse her power and have his serve life die and come back again and do more time.
There are so many other cases like those above that are languishing in injustice, and in need of our attention and action. With the criminal in chief soon to reside at the White House, it is urgent for us to act Now! It is urgent for us to unite now! Please join us on February 22, 2025! Save the date!!!
