Join us on Saturday, August 3rd when the NYRMA All-Stars and special guests pay tribute to the music of Stephen Stills. From his solo work to his music with Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, Manassas and more, you're sure to hear all of your favorites along with a few of our favorite deep cuts.
Stephen Stills' songwriting is a captivating blend of folk, rock, and a touch of the unexpected – Latin rhythms. Growing up in Central America exposed him to vibrant musical traditions that subtly influenced his craft.
Stills' impact transcends music. He's enshrined in the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and is a BMI Music Icon. Uniquely, he holds the distinction of being the first person inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice on the same night, for both Buffalo Springfield and CSN. His enduring career stands as a testament to his talent, creativity, and lasting impact on rock music.

What is the Bunker and where is it located?
The Bunker is a mystical place that exists in the hearts and minds of the members of the New York Roots Music Association. This event will be held outdoors at a private home and it is expected that all attendees will be respectful of all that entails. The main house is strictly off-limits, but the spacious pool/performance area and cabana offer multiple places to set up and hang. Bathroom facilities are located in the cabana. The Bunker is a judgement-free, all-inclusive scene. Hate has no home here - good vibes only!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
On street parking only - please be mindful of the neighbors, and be prepared to walk a bit, unless your driver is kind enough to drop everybody else off first! Uber!
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Strictly BYOB - Coolers welcome but please CANNED BEER ONLY! Wine bottles OK but no glass will be allowed on the pool/performance level. Please bring PLASTIC cups or PLASTIC glasses only. There will be an area where you can stow your coolers and fill your glasses to bring them to the performance area. No seating will be provided so lawn chairs and blankets are welcome! The pool will be open, so bring a towel if you're so inclined.
Is food available for purchase on site?
We are in negotiations with some vendors, but feel free to bring anything that you want. If you have something special, please feel free to share at our Potluck Table if you wish! If you want to grill something, two gas grills will be available for use – first come, first serve. Just remember this is a private home, so please make sure to leave things the way you found them!
Is there a rain date?
Currently there is no scheduled rain date. In case of a rain out, tickets will be refunded.
