WE THE PEOPLE have the voice, the right and the power to tell our elected officials that we demand a STOP to the GENOCIDE campaign in GAZA. Especially when our tax money is funding it!Join in solidarity and take civic action on Saturday August 16th. Open House 3-7pm
3:00- we will hold a letter writing campaign (both paper and email) to our Idaho Representatives. DSA volunteers will assist and answer any questions. Letter templates, sample text, envelopes, postage stamps and wifi access for email letters will be provided.
7:00 - we will hold a vigil in solidarity and support. Please bring tribute tokens, prayer candle, we will provide some for those who don't have one. If you would like to make a short statement or offer a prayer, please be mindful of the time and vigil space. Each voice, each letter, every action makes a difference.
Stop Genocide in Gaza.
1. Immediate De-escalation
2. Entry of Humanitarian Assistance
3. Safe passage of humanitarian aid and medical supplies.
4. Allow entry & reporting by independent journalists.
5. Resuming access to water, electricity, basic human needs.
