I spent over a decade as a journalist and editor in fast-paced newsrooms and corporate environments such as the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, OK! Magazine and Bauer Media. I know what it's like to work in spaces where, as a woman, staying quiet felt safer than standing out. Where softening your message felt necessary. Where the performance of "professional" was exhausting.

I understand the invisible forces that keep talented women stuck: the subtle conditioning, the fear of being "too much," the pattern of making yourself smaller to make others comfortable.
