Hey everyone!!
Join us on 12th of November for a recap from the 10th round of negotiations on a UN Binding Treaty!
For the past two months we have been posting around the UN process for a Legally Binding Treaty on Transnational Corporations (TNCs) and Human Rights. Now it is time to share what happened at the negotiations in Geneva and discuss how to go forward.
A strong Binding Treaty on TNCs has the potential to transform the ways transnational capital operates, and to stop corporate impunity. The process is super relevant for all of our work in Global Aktion, and anyone interested in human rights and corporate power.
We would love to hear your thoughts and questions on the process, share some of our insights and move forward together.
We plan to give a short talk about recent developments of the last round of negotiations, and from the Global Campaign to Dismantle Stop Impunity, Reclaim People’s Sovereignty and Dismantle Corporate Power, and then enter a broader discussion with you.
