🚨 Mecklenburg County and CPCC are quietly pushing a $118M+ police training facility without public input. Dubbed Cop City CLT, the project includes a fake city streetscape, high-speed driving course, and burn tower built on public education land, along with input from ICE and DHS.
This militarized complex is:
- 🌲 Clear-cutting forest land and wetlands
- 💸 Funded with our tax dollars
- 🧱 Designed for riot control and urban warfare—not community safety
- 📉 Diverting millions from schools, housing, youth jobs, and healthcare
