Join Tara for an inspiring event to raise awareness for women’s cancers. A hybrid event that is equal parts cardio, dance, meditation & connection. A nostalgic moment as we raise funds and awareness to the Harry Perkins Institute – a charity close to The Jungle Body with Tara’s heart. DJ Munch will be spinning the tunes all night long!100% of the night's earnings will go towards the "Blister Sisters" who are a team of women (Maria, Denise, Simone) from Tara's class who have been walking and fundraising for the Harry Perkins Institute for Medical Research into Cancers.
Maria has personally been through breast cancer. She had a double mastectomy, she is a cancer survivor. Her mother recently passed away with metastatic breast cancer. Over the last 2 years her daughter had been battling Cervical Cancer. She has only just turned 40.
We cannot change the journey for someone going through cancer but together we can make a difference by raising as much money as we can so that the amazing Researchers at The Harry Perkins Institute help find cures to make cancer less lethal.
We would like to raise awareness amongst our Konga Community through this event by inviting you to enter the class, listen to some inspiring stories, learn about womens cancers & then dance the night away.
Please be vigilant and check your breasts regularly. Cancer doesn’t discriminate. One of walkers in 2016 was 34 when she was diagnosed. Listen to your body.
