Stop Climate Deception: Urging Gov. Stein to De-Pollute Duke Energy

Stop Climate Deception organizers have secured a permit to assemble in front of the Governor's Mansion in Raleigh for a peaceful demonstration. The permit does have terms to follow and to avoid demonstrators being removed from the premises, we ask that you don’t bring:

1. Weapons and/or hazardous and combustible materials
2. Stick-holding placards
3. Drones/unmanned aircraft
4. Any mask, hood, or other device that covers a substantial portion of your face

In addition, please refrain from:

1. Climbing on any structures not intended for climbing purposes
2. Not complying with the lawful directives of a law enforcement officer
3. Throwing objects of a potentially dangerous nature
4. Damaging landscaping, planting, improvements, equipment, or structures
5. Blocking the sidewalks or roadways
   

Things you should bring:

1. Water bottle (stay hydrated so you can yell)
2. Handheld signs/posters
3. First aid kit
