Stony Creek, Come and Try Fishing for Moorabool & Macedon Carers

Come and Try Fishing! This relaxing day is an opportunity to spend time with like-minded people in a peaceful and idyllic location by the water. Based at Stony Creek Reserve, the group will enjoy a picnic lunch, an opportunity to learn a new skill out in nature, make some new friends and take some time for yourself. If fishing is not your thing, you may want to explore the reserve’s bush walking trails or do a spot of bird watching.

Eligibility criteria:

• Identify as an informal carer.
• You or your care recipient reside in the Moorabool or Macedon Shire.

There is no out-of-pocket expense for carers to attend.

Registration is essential. Once you register an Out Doors Inc. staff member will be in touch to provide more details about the event and confirm your eligibility.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes.
• Rain jacket if wet, warm jumper.
• Water bottle and hat.

What’s included:

• Transport from a central location.
