The Camrose Run Club would like to invite you to Camrose for yet another awesome running experience in our valley. Camrose has hosted numerous running events this year including the annual Ole’s Spring Run Off, Run Like Ole Series, Battle River School Division events, ACAC grand prix event and the upcoming U-Sports Canada West championships. The Stoney Creek Ultra will be a season ending running opportunity in which we are hoping to attract runners for one last great event.Located in the beautiful city of Camrose, the ultra/ultra relay/5km run takes you through a scenic area of the Stoney Creek Valley located in Jubilee Park. The race starts at Jubilee Park located near 52 Street and 46 Avenue in Camrose, Alberta.
The ultra course will follow the disc golf course that is located within the park. The loop is 1 mile in distance and you and your team (2 to 6 members) are encouraged to run as many miles as possible during the 6 hour event.
The 5km will be a short individual event which will involve three laps of the 1 mile course.
The terrain is undulating and will be on a grass course. This gives people an opportunity to introduce themselves to trail running all while being contained within the park system. No one gets lost and no wrong turns!!!!
