Stonehenge Winter Solstice and City of Bath Day Out

Its an early 03.00 am start on our journey to arrive at Stonehenge just before Dawn and to secure the perfect spot to take in the glory of the sun rising as we and hundreds of others herald in the first day of Winter.

Leaving promptly we travel southwest through the night to be greeted by a sneak preview of the stones from the motorway. This glimps is all you wil need to awaken an energy of excitment that many last experienced as children. Its almost like a flame of dormant curiosity has been reignited deep within your soul.

If you are a history buff, into archeology or it was a place only viewed in books photos or on the TV, this trip also facilitates the opporunity to get closer to the stones than at any other time of the year.

Afterwards the day out continues on to the city of Bath were one can explore the ancient rome in a modern day setting or take a dip in the steamy hot spring water Spa

Info: This will be the third year running visiting the magical Stones of Stonehenge. Transport is a warm air-conditioned mini bus. We leave at 2.30 am sharp to be at the stones and witness the rituals of the Sharmens , to listen to the voices of the angelic choir and celebrate the first day of Winter alongside hundreds of people. We will watch the sun as it ascends into the sky. Then it's off to the Roman city of Bath to Explore or if you want to take a dip in the hot spring water roof top pool of the Thermal Spa. Afterwards it always nice to indulge in a spot to eat before a sleepy drive back to London
