This is a half day lecture and tour of operations with morning tea.The lecture focuses on planning/site, size, quantity and varieties. Basic layout, irrigation and fire systems, netting, chemicals and what to do with the fruit.
After the lecture part there would be a general tour of the collection of varieties, looking at the irrigation system and fire systems in use, and a netted area which is currently being modified.
Break for morning tea.
The final part comprises of practical demonstrations, the nursery, and a sneak peek of the Biotechnology Lab.
