Everyone brings something for the soup and we have a wonderful meal together! At the shelter house behind the church. In case of bad weather we will go inside the church.🌧⛈Based on the children’s folktale about a whole town that was outsmarted by two hungry travelers who came to their village. It’s a fun tale about everyone in the village who gave what they had and all enjoyed a delicious dinner!!
Bring a sandwich bag or quart size bag of a cut up vegetable or meat to throw into the pot. Broth, seasonings, crackers, bread & butter, and drinks will be provided.
Bring lawn chairs to sit around fire pit. 🔥📤
If a few people want to bring some cookies or brownies, that would be great!!👍🏻🍪
