The Saturday in August is back again! The biggest crowd of the season, and we want you to be there!
The only Saturday fixture of the year and it’s one you simply won’t want to miss. Come and enjoy the summer sunshine (if it still lasts...).
The Stone of Destiny Raceday is set to further knit together the association with the surrounding land and history of the Racecourse. The Stone of Destiny, also known as the Stone of Scone, is piece of sandstone associated with the coronation ceremonies of medieval monarchs of Scotland. And this year, the stone has returned to it's rightful place, well near enough. Hosted in the Perth Museum, the Stone of Destiny is free to visit so why not make a weekend of it, visit the stone and then take in a days racing to celebrate it's history!
This day is our most popular raceday of the season for racing fans and draws in a crowd of over 6,000 each year. The Grandstand and Picnic Enclosures are both open this raceday. So whether, you want something relaxed, why not bring a picnic and set up camp in the Picnic Enclosure. A small range of inflatables will also be available to enjoy throughout the day!
Or fancy getting in amongst the action? Join us in the Grandstand Enclosure where you will have access to the Parade Ring to see the runners and riders up close before each race. Don't forget to check out the live music in The Barn after racing.
Please note, all ticket holders (Picnic and Grandstand), will have access to The Barn area for the post racing live music.
