Stone Carving Class for Students at St. Rita's Catholic School

Learn the art of traditional stone carving with hand tools after school at St. Rita’s!

Stone carver and sculptor Bethany Lee will be offering a 90 minute introductory carving lesson to a small group of students. Each student will learn how to handle the three main tools, carve a flat surface, carve a curved surface and make a v-cut. Using these skills, each student will then carve a simple design in a block of stone which they will take home.
