About this Event
Vacancy Chain are 3 vertically un-impaired humans from Chicago and Milwaukee. Their 2023 album "Count The Stars" was one of the finest rock (and roll) albums to come roaring out of The Great Lakes that year or perhaps any year.
"Band leader Ashley Altadonna cut their teeth in Milwaukee bands like The Glacial Speed and New Blind Nationals. She knows how to properly scuzz things up with a little guitar, charm with confessional lyrics and wrap it all up with a powerful voice." - Erin Wolf, 88.9 Radio Milwaukee

Chicago's Stomatopod features John Huston on vocals and guitar, Sharon Maloy on bass and vocals and Elliot Dicks on drums and jokes. They are power power trio punks with DNA in The Dishes, Bender and The Nerves who will fill the Jawbox-shaped hole in your heart. Their indie album release "DrizzleFizzle" was among the best 2024 had to offer.
"Stomatopod aren’t reinventing the wheel here, but that’s not the point—they’re doing what they do best, and they’re really great at it. And, self-engineered by the three audiophiles that make up the band, it sounds really great too." - The Chicago Reader
"No ballads, no weepy tunes, just frenetic garage rock with plenty of detours into punk, stoner, grunge, noise-rock and even metal.” - Hellride Music
