About this Event
Come and meet the reserve management team as we host a guided walk around Stodmarsh NNR where we will talk about the history of Stodmarsh and the work that goes into managing this amazing reserve. We will also be on the lookout for the amazing flora and fauna which call Stodmarsh home and pay a visit to a number of our hides where we hope to view these wild animals in their natural habitats, and how these animals play a part in reserve management and conservation, you never really know what we will see!
Please bring with you a pair of binoculars and a camera if you wish to capture any special encounters along the way.
The walk will start from the Stodmarsh carpark (CT3 4BB). Please note this is a free event, and payment for the carpark is voluntary but if you wish to donate towards our conservation work there is a dedicated donation box by the shelter in the carpark.
The walk will be approximately 3 miles on a mixture of terrain which may be uneven underfoot in areas, however our nature trail which will form part of the walk is wheelchair friendly.
BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL for this event due to limited spaces and please be aware that clicking ‘going’ on our Facebook event will not guarantee a space.
