Stocksmoor Common - Pond Survey and NARMP Training

Return visit to one of our local amphibian sites. Join Andy and Clare at this Yorkshire Wildlife Trust reserve to undertake pond surveys using a number of recommended amphibian survey techniques: bottle trapping, torchlight survey and egg/Refugia searches (under licence).
Meet at 18:00 on Sat 26th April at the site for installation of traps and searches.
We will then await darkness (sunset ~19:45) at site (or at the pub) before torching.
Returning at 08:00 on Sunday 27th to retrieve traps.
The site is known to support all 3 species of newt.
