We will offer a range of engaging craft workshops. Learn the art of gold gilding, traditional signwriting & glass fusion, led by masters who are passionate about preserving these timeless crafts.

Glass Fusion Workshops:
Join us for a workshop where you can unleash your creativity and craft your very own unique art piece under the guidance of a master in the field Caroline Channing. In this workshop, we'll explore the exciting world of glass fusion, allowing you to let loose, have fun, play with glass and create bespoke art pieces that reflect your individual style. After your masterpiece is fired and kiln-finished, you'll have the opportunity to take home a one-of-a-kind creation , let your hair down, and discover the joy of crafting beautiful glass art.
(Please note firing takes 3-5 days & can pick up the finished artwork the following week)

Beccy Roberts, Master sign writing and gilder. Over 40 years of being in the game... With a brush as her tool, she transforms letters into captivating works of art, bringing a unique flair to every surface. Join Beccy in her workshops to explore the art of visual storytelling and discover the magic of turning words into visual masterpieces. Beccy is also one of our lovely artists in residence here at sleepy parrot. So feel free to come by and see her amazing work!

Caroline Channing With a rich artistic journey spanning over a decade, Caroline has become a master in the intricate world of stained glass. Specialising in personalised designs and expert restorations, her work has not only added vibrant colours to numerous spaces but has also been an integral part of preserving the heritage of stained glass windows.
In the past three years, Caroline has seamlessly transitioned her skills into the fascinating realm of fused glass. As part of the Stockport Heritage Project at Sleepy Parrot Studios, she invites enthusiasts to explore the artistry behind her unique fusion of tradition and innovation.
