Hidden away behind the bulk of the Grey Corries, Stob ban is the 4th Munro in the range and done as a single Munro walk. This pointy peak, ‘the white peak’, shares its name with another Stob Ban just along the glen in the Mamores range. On the way, we pass the Lairig Leacach bothy located at the base of the mountain, before ascending the ridge to the summit and retracing our path to enjoy the views once more.
Fitness: This is a reasonably long day on good tracks mostly but with a steep climb to the summit. Reasonable hill fitness is required.
