Join Kim Herringe in Maleny for a two-day Stitched Handmade & Artist Books Workshop on Saturday and Sunday, 2-3 August. Perfect for beginners, artists and book enthusiasts, this workshop will guide you through the creation of your own beautifully stitched books using traditional binding techniques from the perspective of an artist.
We work in a small group (max 5 people) at a relaxed pace.
Day 1 covers the basics of the stitches we are working with, and Day 2 will be your opportunity to design and craft your own book(s) using one or both methods. You’ll leave the workshop with your completed books, handouts and the skills to continue making books at home.
