About this Event
This is the second of our quarterly educational workshop series for 2023. Designed to empower our community to prolong the life cycle of their clothing by teaching core skills for mending and upcycling.
Dove Hospice & Wellness are a local Auckland not-for-profit Hospice specialising in care that enhances holistic well-being from the time of diagnosis of a life-threatening illness. All funds raised from this event will help fund the specialist hospice and wellness services we make available at no charge from our Glendowie-based facilities, Dove House, and Dove Wing. In partnership with and sponsored by , Part Two of the series will include tutorials for hand sewing alterations. Further details to be confirmed in May.
Each ticket for this event includes sewing tutorials, guest speaker, a digital take home guide, a drink and nibbles, and a 20% discount voucher to spend at The Fabric Store.
