Mercy, Please! are a collective of musicians who have been bringing their brand of soulful R&B to Canadian audiences since 2016. Blending confessional vocal styling with tight grooves and rich sonic textures, Mercy, Please! will make you a believer in the transcendent power of soul music.
The group explores themes of authenticity, community, relationships, redemption, and salvation. Musically, MP! mix the urgency of classic soul with a modern R&B sound. Elements like the live band and rich vocal harmonies are blended with samples, drum machines, and synthesizers.
Ceeb Dread, started off rapping at an early age ...i had a knack for rhyming ..even when i spoke ..i guess you could say it was a natural progression ....i freestyled a lot before writing any albums, back in the day that's what we did .
In 2007 i released my first album titled its about time and then 5 years went by i i was back in the booth ...i guess i had been compiling enuff dope tracks to drop an album so in 2012 i released STILL DOWN with bme media group. I am still signed to them have released 5 albums through my family and will continue to do so for as long as i breathe
i like to raise food for community kitchens at shows i play because
there are hungry people everywhere and its a must we take care of our fellow human .....I've done some other things ...but i guess you'll have to do some research and google me lol
