Stingray is a Bay Area rock and soul group founded and fronted by Greg Loiacono of The Mother Hips.
The band features a stellar line-up of legendary musicians:
Vicki Randle: Perc/Vocals (Mavis Staples, George Benson)
Michael Urbano: Drums(Sheryl Crow, Lindsey Buckingham)
Kofy Brown: Bass/Vocals (Skip the Needle)
Scott Ayers: Guitar/Vocals (The Lovemakers)
Danny Eisenberg: Keys(The Mother Hips)
The group is inspired by soul, funk and rock from the 70’s and 80’s, old school, heartbreak ballads, where Loiacono showcases his falsetto and the modern sounds of Indie R&B.
The band is currently working on their first album at 2200 Studios (formerly The Plant) in Sausalito, CA with producer Damien Lewis.
