Stina presents a lecture about La Canadenca! La Canadenca was a historic strike action in Barcelona. It began in February 1919 by the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT) and lasted over 44 days, turning into a general strike in Catalonia, which paralysed the industrial sector. What happened there? What did they achieve, or did they lose? How can we learn from there to the current working movements? We'll discuss all these questions and more in this presentation to bring hope to current movements.
After the lecture there will be a pub where you can drink and eat and continue to discuss!!!
