About this Event
The Stiletto Stampede is a fundraising social run benefiting Marci Bradley’s Girls on the Run Solemates fundraiser. She was selected to be a part of the Girls on the Run National SoleMates Team. The funds raised will benefit the local Girls on the Run council, empowering girls in 3rd-8th grades to be joyful, healthy, and confident through running and interactive lessons. By participating, you're supporting programs that inspire young girls in our community to reach their full potential.
- 40 yard dash to the finish. The Relay is 4 x 40 yards.
- Race check-in begins at 5:15 PM
- Race starts at 5:45 PM
- $50 entry per person (includes shirt plus a chance to win prizes and a trophy!)

When you join us for the Stiletto Stampede, you're not just strutting in style, you're making a real difference in the lives of girls right here in our community. Every dollar raised stays local, empowering young girls to thrive. With Girls on the Run, these girls learn so much more than just running; they gain life skills that last a lifetime. From managing emotions to resolving conflicts, from lending a helping hand to making thoughtful choices, this program sets them on a path to joy, health, and confidence. So let's lace up those stilettos and step out with purpose, knowing that each step we take helps another girl find her stride!
Joining the Stiletto Stampede is simple:
- Register: Sign up ($50/pp) as an individual or create/join a relay team of 4 members. Invite friends, family, or coworkers to join your team. Custom shirts by Varsity Sports for all race participants. **The deadline to register and receive a shirt and participate in the Calcutta night is May 9th.**
- Bet: Participate in Calcutta night on May 13th, 5:30 pm, hosted by Randa Patrick at 7001 Richards Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. Bet on race participants—all bets are donations to the fundraiser.
- Race Day: The race length is 40 yards. The Relay is 4 x 40 yards. Come dressed in your best costume and heels! Get ready for a stylish and memorable experience. Custom trophies for race winners and other prizes are up for grabs!

Rules:
- No pushing, shoving, or tripping allowed.
- Protective gear may be worn.
- Only heels 2" or higher are eligible. (No wedges allowed)
- Participants must be 18 or older.
- All decisions by officials are final.
- A liability waiver is required for all participants.
