The Jog-a-thon is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year - we count on this funding for updating Chromebooks, licensing for student learning, and other classroom supplies. The cost of tuition does not cover the cost to educate each child and so fundraisers throughout the year help make up this cost. This year's Jog-a-thon has many different surprises in store! We are looking forward to having a fun-filled day with water activities, bubbles, and walking/jogging as a community. PARENT VOLUNTEERS - we need your help! Note the change of date and we hope you are still able to join us on Monday, September 30th.
THIS WILL BE A 1:00 DISMISSAL DAY - Extended Care will be available until 3:00 pm on this day.
What is new?
1. Sun visors instead of t-shirts - it's going to be hot, so we are going with something different this year. An STG sun visor that can be worn on Jog-a-thon day and any school day throughout the year. Students earn this sun visor once their minimum donation has been earned.
2. Cooling towels - students can earn a cooling towel as they receive donations. These will be a fun addition to the water activities and help keep students cool.
3. WATER SLIDES - Your family goal is still to try to raise $200 in donations. This will guarantee your child(ren) can participate in all water activities of the day. The donation link is on our school website: www.stgphx.org Get the word on out social media, mail letters to family and friends around the state and beyond. Let's get those donations in!
4. DUNKING BOOTH - students will have an opportunity to dunk teachers and staff during the day's activities. DOES YOUR CHILD WANT TO DUNK FR. PAUL AND MRS. GATSON?? Of course this will be the most fun....so, the grade levels are competing to receive this grand prize. The Spartan grade level who raises the most funds for their group will win the time slot for dunking Fr. Paul and Mrs. Gatson. These donations are not included in your family total - so get your family total first.
