De immens getalenteerde songwriter, zanger en multi-instrumentalist Steven Wilson kondigt zijn grote terugkeer aan met de release van zijn nieuwe album ‘The Overview’, dat begin 2025 in de rekken ligt. Deze achtste langspeler wordt uiteraard vergezeld door een nieuwe tournee, die op woensdag 7 mei 2025 halthoudt in het Koninklijk Circus in Brussel!Steven Wilson werd begin jaren ’90 bij het grote publiek bekend als frontman van Porcupine Tree. Maar al meer dan twintig jaar bouwt hij ook solo een succesvolle carrière uit, die binnenkort dus al acht meesterwerken van albums telt. De hypergetalenteerde duizendpoot weet zijn stijl – tussen ProgRock en avantgardistische psychedelica – steeds verder te verfijnen, waarbij uitstapjes richting post-punk of metal geen uitzondering zijn. Zijn liveshows zijn unieke en boeiende ervaringen, waaronder ook meerdere passages in ons land; zowel indoor (AB, Koninklijk Circus) als op de festivalpodia (Rock Werchter). Vandaag kondigt Wilson de details aan van een nieuwe tournee in mei en juni 2025. De ‘Overview Tour’ reist door het Verenigd Koninkrijk en elf Europese landen, waaronder België.

Révélé au début des années ’90 en tant que leader de Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson mène une brillante carrière solo depuis plus de quinze ans, riche de bientôt huit albums devenus incontournables. Touche à tout de talent, il affine sans cesse son style entre rock progressif et psychédélisme avant-gardiste, tout en s’autorisant des incursions dans le post-punk ou le metal. The immensely talented songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist Steven Wilson announces his grand return with the release of his new album "The Overview” available as of early 2025. This 8th full-length album will of course be accompanied by a new tour, which will stop at Cirque Royal in Brussels on Wednesday, 7 May 2025!
