STEVE MARINO:
Taking from 90s alternative rock, Steve Marino brings to the table some of the catchiest tunes that deserve radio play more than ever. Currently based in Los Angeles, he's originally from Bloomington Indiana where he spent time playing in the band Bugg also on Pop Wig Records.
DAMION:
Damion Schiralli is a guitarist from Bloomington Indiana who also cut his teeth playing with Bugg and the hardcore punk project Laffing Gas. Inspired by the deep cuts from your favorite one hit wonder rockers from the 1970s. Rather than limitations, the structures and styles of vintage rock perfectly suit the album’s lithe falsetto, eerily familiar melodies, and hazy storytelling--the listener immersed in a soup of poetic fragments, Damion himself always at a beguiling arm’s length.
BLUE SPRING:
A new band from Richmond featuring members of Haircut, Ultimate Disaster, Fried Egg and others. I heard Yo La Tengo is an inspiration.
BENJAMIN SHEPARD:
Richmond Virginia local self-described as southern antifolk with a lyrical focus.
