An eclectic mix of music on violin and electric violin, with live looping
Acclaimed violinist Steve Bingham brings you four centuries of violin music in an exciting array of styles, and using a variety of technology alongside his violin playing. From Bach to The Beatles, and from Michael Nyman to Mike Oldfield, Steve informs and entertains with this unique and exciting musical entertainment.

Steve’s lifelong interests in music and technology have led him on a unique career path. After training as a classical violinist at London’s Royal Academy of Music he has performed worldwide, as founder member of the Bingham String Quartet and also as a soloist and orchestral leader with several leading ensembles. But he has also pursued non-classical paths, with eclectic solo recitals using electric violin and live-looping, alongside gigs with a variety of rock, pop and folk bands. This has led to a recording portfolio that spans everything from unaccompanied Bach to covers of Peter Gabriel, from Elgar orchestral works to Shostakovich string quartets, and from multi-tracked pieces by Michael Nyman to newly commissioned violin works.
