Steve loved a good ol’ St. Patty’s Day party! ☘️ In fact, he asked me to marry him St Patrick’s Day weekend in Chicago. Soooo🥁…. in honor of Steve, I have decided to dedicate a party to him with a bench visit to start the party off right! Meet us at Fox Hill Park at 12:30 to give a toast to Steve. Then, follow us to Tubby’s to spend time enjoying family, friends, and tunes that will be blasted right up to the heavens! A lil’ bit of 2 Bit (the band), an Irish/American feast(the food), bowling for the kids(the future). I do have a LOT of kids in my family, so “friends” if you can find a sitter, please try to keep it to adults only. This is to ensure that we can really celebrate Steve.
My biggest goal of the day is to get as many people at the bench at once and/or there in one day as possible! So if you can’t make it to the party or the toast please come by the bench, say hey to Steve, have a drink with him or just give it a tap and keep going. Let Steve know how much we all care about him and miss him here on Earth. Whatever you do take a photo and post it on his prayer page!!!!!
The best way to celebrate life is by not forgetting the life we lost. I will never stop celebrating the beautiful human Steve was, so please come prepared to share any and all Steve stories you have. We know they are abundant and vibrant, just like Steve.
If you were at Steve’s service you know there are a LOT of people that would love to celebrate him. So if you know right away that you can NOT come to Tubby’s for food and music let us know as soon as you know by marking yourself as not able to attend. This ensures we can extend the invitation to others.
Love and appreciate all of you! The love we have received has kept us going and makes us stronger. We have wonderful people in our lives and that will never change so let’s keep going!
