About this Event
There’s a fear almost every estranged mom carries but rarely says out loud:
“They don’t want me.”
If that’s you… you’re not broken.
You’re not unlovable.
And you’re not alone.
I'm here for you. I'm Andrea Amador and as an estranged mom myself, I know what it's like to feel like your adult child's distance is a personal attack on you. But it's not.
And that's why I created this walking workshop to give you a safe place where you can finally breathe again.
💔 If you’re an estranged mom, you already know the ache:
The guilt that keeps you awake at night.
The shame that silences you in rooms where other moms smile and laugh easily.
The way you avoid your own reflection because it shows too much pain.
The way emotional eating becomes a way to soothe the hurt nobody sees.
The way holidays without them feel like daggers.
The way your nervous system never quite seems to settle.
For many estranged moms, they silently wonder:
“If my own child doesn't love or want me… who will?”
“What does their rejection say about me?”
This fear doesn’t come from today.
It comes from:
- the dad you adored who abandoned you
- the mother whose distance, made you feel alone even when she was there.
- the partner who betrayed your trust
- the friends who disappeared in your darkest moments
- the years you had to hide your true feelings just to stay safe
- the survival mode that swallowed your voice
Many of us carry a quiet promise as mothers —
that our children will never have to survive what we survived.
But estrangement is rarely born in one moment or one relationship.
It often touches wounds that existed long before motherhood.
Your healing does not depend on your child’s choices.
Peace does not require closure.
Healing begins when you come home to yourself —
and learn to offer your own body and heart the same love and respect you’ve always given to others.
This is a trauma-sensitive, compassion-first space where you’ll learn how to:
🌿 calm the nervous system spirals that come with estrangement
🌿 release self-blame and shame
🌿 understand emotional eating as a comfort mechanism, not a failure
🌿 stop abandoning yourself to “earn” love
🌿 break generational patterns of emotional neglect and silence
🌿 see yourself from a kinder, gentler perspective
🌿 rebuild your identity without needing anyone else’s approval
🌿 feel grounded and safe in your own body again
Healing begins when you come home to yourself — with compassion, safety, and truth.

You don’t have to suffer in silence.
You don’t have to pretend to be okay.
Andrea Amador is a women’s empowerment coach, author, estranged mom, and widow who has walked through grief, abandonment wounds, emotional eating, and the deep ache of being estranged from her beloved father and later her precious daughter. Her coaching blends nervous system regulation, mirror work, self-compassion, and emotional safety practices to help women rebuild their lives from the inside out.
She leads workshops for women who feel ashamed to look in the mirror, who’ve been betrayed or abandoned, who soothe with food, who feel invisible — and who are ready to stop trying to squeeze love out of people who don’t have it to give.
This workshop is a soft landing for your heart —
a place to be seen without judgment
and to start rebuilding your strength one gentle step at a time.
Andrea doesn’t teach from theory.
She teaches from years of survival, from soul, and from the lived experience of rebuilding her life one grounding breath at a time.
