Connect with like-minded individuals and learn from wellness guides to find inspiration and motivation. Freda is a visual and performing artist who has graced the stages of Central Ohio for over 25 years as a dancer/choreographer, singer, and drummer. Freda is also a passionate educator, having taught in Columbus-area schools.

Jera is the founder of Mahogany Manifesto, which specializes in identifying and sharing wellness-enhancing resources and experiences. Mahogany Manifesto offers community and accountability -- both of which we all need throughout this journey of life.

Info: Participants will be guided through an art exercise that will remind them where they are from and how to move toward where they want to be. Using oil pastels, construction paper, and seeds, they will create a mosaic-style landscape to hold their intention in times of distress.

Info: Borrowing words from bell hooks, participants will learn about the importance of "Touching the Earth." The value of being connected to nature through gardening will be discussed and then followed by a "101 Basics" workshop on how to get started with container gardening. Each guest will be provided with a starter kit for at-home growing.
