Stephanie Choate received her BFA from New York University- Tisch School of the Arts. She was born in Miami FL and currently lives in Tulsa OK where she works as an actor artist and producer creating work around human connection. Her paintings have been showcased at the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens Steve Liggett Gallery TXMZ Free Spirit Chiropractic and WOMPA.
“Cool Places for Sexy Conversation” A Loveseat Series - is about the presence of connection without the bodies that created it. Our deep impact on each other percolates in the folds of the fabric of our lives and this series of sitting rooms is about the space in our minds where we can feel the connection we had with someone- emotionally physically and spiritually when sitting together sharing space a couch and a light. It embodies the memories of conversation kisses song smoke or stares that come back with immediacy when reminded of where we sat together- connecting.
