STEP UP! Against Domestic Violence FundraiserJoin us for a special fundraiser supporting the children affected by the recent domestic violence tragedy in Elizabethtown, KY. on Monday, August 19th.
Saturday, October 5th, Some businesses in Downtown Elizabethtown are coming together to host this heartfelt event as we gear up for the STEP OUT! Against Domestic Violence Walk/Run – a 5K taking place on October 6th at Freeman Lake Park, benefiting Spring Haven Domestic Violence Shelter.
We invite you to STEP UP! Against Domestic Violence by dining and socializing at participating local businesses.
A portion of the proceeds from sales at Impellizzeri’s, J.R. Neighbors, and Cavern Club will go directly to support the affected family.
A well-known local charity GIVE 270 will be matching the first $5000 raised!!!!

Date: Saturday, October 5th
Start Time: 11 AM at J.R. Neighbors and Impellizzeri’s
Cavern Club: Opens at 4 PM
Live Music: Enjoy performances at the stage behind Impellizzeri’s all day & later in the evening at The Cavern Club
Silent Auction: Auction items will be displayed around J.R. Neighbors. You will be able to bid on these items online the day of and days after the event. Since we are in Kentucky this auction will feature numerous bourbon related items to include a Whiskey House of Kentucky Exclusive Private Tour & Barrel Selection Be one of the only members of the public to select a barrel of bourbon from the Whiskey House of Kentucky, the most advanced custom whiskey distillery in the United States. As part of this exclusive experience, receive a private tour, tasting, and discussion with the company’s founders, David Mandell and John Hargrove.
QR Code Donations: Multiple businesses downtown will have QR Codes posted throughout the day. All funds collected will go in a trust fund for the children. Stay tuned, more information on this event is still to come!!!
