Step Into Design: Prototyping Workshop

Join us for an engaging and interactive Step Into Design workshop and discover what it is like to study design at Heriot-Watt University.

This hands-on session is part of a series of workshops designed to introduce design-led thinking and creative practice through practical activities. The focus of this workshop is prototyping, where you will explore how ideas are developed and transformed into simple prototypes using a design-led approach.

During the workshop, you will experience the design process first-hand by exploring problems, generating ideas, testing concepts, and communicating solutions. Prototyping allows designers to experiment, learn through making, and refine their ideas before reaching final outcomes.

This is a hybrid event, and you are welcome to attend either in person or online. Attendees who choose to join online will be sent a link prior to the event.

Certificates of participation will be awarded to all attendees who complete and submit their projects.
