Step by Step Implant Overdenture Solutions: Surgical and Restorative Hands-On
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Participants will attend a LIVE hands-on course that encompasses evidence and clinical-based lecture theory with a hands-on workshop with full-arch dental implant diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical procedures. This one-and-a-half-day in-person program is designed for clinicians that would like to both treatment plan and treat implant-retained removable and fixed prosthodontics. This course emphasizes didactic and hands-on training for the successful treatment of the edentulous patient utilizing contemporary implant-retained, tissue-supported treatment options.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Understand diagnosis, treatment planning, and prosthetic space requirements of implant options
2. Acquire knowledge and confidence in utilizing standard diameter and narrow diameter implants and surgical kits
3. Acquire basic understanding of the surgical and prosthetic protocols of implant overdentures
4. Exposure to various clinical philosophies and treatment approaches to full-arch implant dentistry

SPEAKER: Dr. Michael Scherer
Dr. Michael Scherer is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University, a Clinical Instructor at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, and maintains a practice limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Sonora, California. He is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, has published articles, DVD training series, and full-online courses related to implant dentistry, clinical prosthodontics, and digital technology with a special emphasis on implant overdentures. As an avid technology & computer hobbyist, Dr. Scherer’s involvement in digital implant dentistry has led him to develop and utilize new technology with CAD/CAM surgical systems, implement interactive CBCT implant planning, and outside of the box radiographic imaging concepts. Dr. Scherer also maintains five YouTube channels: “LearnLOCATOR”, “LearnLODI”, “LearnSATURNO”, “LearnLOCATOR F-Tx” and “The 3D Dentist” popular YouTube channels on standard and narrow diameter dental implant procedures and digital dentistry.

Cancellations received less than 30 days, but more than 15 days prior to the course date will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided after this date. Failure to attend the meeting without written notification will not qualify for a refund.
