April 2025 marks the centennial anniversary of the 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale Des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes.

Step back in time with us as we raise a glass to 100 years of Art Deco! We will celebrate at Cliff Bells in Detroit where you will enjoy the perfectly preserved surroundings of this Art Deco club built in 1935. Inside it’s like walking onto the set of an old movie, you almost expect to see Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby or Delores del Rio appear on stage. The space is incredible; triple cove ceilings, mahogany everywhere including the bar, the cool deco stage and large light fixtures hanging from chains providing just enough light to create the perfect ambiance. Start the evening with a specialty cocktail bespoke exclusively for the Detroit Area Art Deco Society, indulge in the variety of appetizers being served. There will be a presentation on Art Deco history along with a collection of period items. Dress in your favorite vintage fashions and don’t forget to brush up on your 1920’s-30’s slang. We hope to see you looking dapper in your glad rags for this centennial celebration!

Cliff Bells opens to the public at 6:30 pm. A Jazz performance featuring starts at 7:30 pm. The $25 cover charge will be waived for ticket holders for our event. Feel free to stay for dinner and/or the Jazz!
